eNuminous & Archimedes - Meaning [Eclipse Poem With Angelic Choir] - Music Video
In 2003, Sacramento area artist Matthew Wright started composing and creating music to go along with his spoken word poetry recordings, and formed a production company, invisible caterpillar media, to experiment in new internet marketing styles and promote a "keeping-it-satirically-real" approach to infiltrative marketing. Plainly, the scheme is to produce a product, announce it to the world, price it cheaply, and roll in the the dough. This campaign has met with limited sucess. The band the Matthew formed, eNuminous & Archimedes, is a "Virtual Band" with no other members but has in fact recorded and released 3 albums of experimental sound, soundpoems, electronica loops, noize, guitar and various other styles of sound. Entitled "It's Not Music For Sane Persons", "Eyelid/Fetish" and "Citi Zen One" the 3 CDs have registered absolutely no sales so far, as of this writing. Elsewhere in this blog is posted a list of some of the places that eNuminous & Archimedes can be heard, and of course, I would be remiss to not post the album sales site. So, the fact that the "Band" doesn't exist but the music is real is not a real contradiction, just a new way of making art. I leave it to the A & R people to judge if the music is stranger than it's potential audience, and will continue to sit in my laboratory of sound and light and ponder the 4the album, while waiting for that email from that person with the record deal, owner of the world's most downloaded yet least selling virtual band ever.

eNuminous also does web design, and is currently working on a gallery and art sales site for Trash Dog Ink, which will be selling lithographs and laser prints as well as original works by a very wonderful artist named Ann Wright. Trashdogink.com Hopefully, the site will be up by the end of march, but in case you miss it and don't ever come back, here's an example of Ann's work:
eNuminous & Archimedes have released 3 audio recordings, entitled "It's Not Music For Sane Persons", "Eyelid/Fetish" and the most recent "Citi Zen One"
e & A, as the shorthand goes, is a virtual band and experiment in new music composition, recording and marketing techniques, relying only on online sales and downloads for it's popularity. So popular, in fact, that the band dubs themselves "The Worlds Most Downloaded Yet Least Selling Virtual Band, Ever."
